I decided to play with the custom white balance on my camera...
I was actually really impressed, it made the crappy lighting in the school's gym look decent. I adjusted the white balance with the flash on auto, but then I turned the flash off for this next pic...
**note to self, when using the custom white balance, if you set it with the flash on, plan on using your flash...if you want to take a pic without the flash, make sure you adjust custom white balance with your flash off...

I couldn't narrow it down any more than this...I got so many great pics of my kids, and using photoshop to play with them made them fantastic! I shot these using a tripod with no flash. In photoshop, I turned some of the images black and white, and increased the contrast. Others I used a technique to make high contrast color photos, and then there were some that were perfect, all I had to do was add my watermark. :)
I continue to be extremely satisfied with my camera...it really does very well within the limitations of a non DSLR camera!
